Snippet from FAQ on the forum:

When WinVNC is run as a service, the server mapped drives are not visible in the FileTransfer GUI because the service is run with the LocalSystem account, before the user authentication/rights check (done at login).
And drives are mapped using the logged user's credentials...

-> Workarounds:
- login first into Windows once connected with Ultr@VNC viewer.
- if still no mapped drives in FT when loged in, run WinVNC as an application.

This problem is solved in RC20 version.
If you can, give it a try.
By default, for security reasons and when winVNC is run as a service, you'll still have to login into remote windows to be allowed to use the filetransfer, but you can change this new security behavior by putting FTUserImpersonation=0 in the registry. Please see the forum for details on this topic.
