Server is connected if icon color changed.. You could add some extra line to the server code hwnd_pr=find window(\"your program window name\"); sendmessage (hwnd_pr,WM_USER+1,1,0) (connect) sendmessage (hwnd_pr,WM_USER+2,1,0) (disconnect) You need to add something extra..... Better it would be to add \"your program name\" as option in some option menu. Then we have a more general way to notify some own wriiten program about changes. ---------------------------------------- For feature requests and bug reports RC15 RC16. Please use the forum at http://forum.ultravnc.net/ I have a little program which changes my windows wallpaper every few minutes. This causes a lot of network traffic when a vnc client is connected. Therefore I would like to add some smarts to my wallpaper changer program to be quiet in this case. How would I go about finding out if clients are connected or not from a program?
