The built-in webserver is just a convenient way of downloading clients
(java for example).  It does not provide an RFB (= remote frambuffer)
connection -- you'll need a second port for that.

If you're running Windows and executable downloads aren't stripped at
your firewall, try the win32 client first (no admin privileges
required).  The java applet adds the additional complications of
permissions, securitymanager, etc.
