Not all plugins are based on the MS encryption... It's not my limited view, but more the monopoly position of Microsoft, and the stupid encryption rules.... i'm prety sure MS is behind the whole export restriction. And as unix sysadmin i'm indeed forced to use Windoz a lot... For internal use i use 1024bit key exchange and 256bit aes, based on the multi platform Intel IPP lib....but i guess this would not be allow in many country's.
