tech mailing list?

Hello all,
I am frustrated: several times I have posted here and to other mailing
lists with technical (usually hardware oriented) questions regarding
802.11 equipment hacking for community networking purposes. I haven't had
much response. I am wondering if this is due to my not asking on the right
mailing list. Does anyone know of a list where wireless hardware hackers
from all over gather?

I am not finding fault with this list, or the BAWUG community. In fact I
am jealous, The SF bay area seems to be much more active than my locality,
Boston. But I wonder how many people who could share technical data are
scattered across a number of localized community wireless groups.

If such a list doesn't exist, I could create one, in a couple of minutes
(yay ezmlm!). I just don't want to create a redundant list.
