Hi all, I have a problem with my USB to serial adapter and dstumbler: if I point it to /dev/ugen0 (which is what the boot messages claim my adapter is at) dstumbler dies an horrible death: error. specified gps device is not a tty: Invalid argument error: unable to close gps device: Invalid argument error: unable to close gps device: Undefined error: 0 and then it freezes. So my question is: what are you people using as gps devices when connecting with a usb to serial adapter? This is on a -STABLE, cvs'up a week ago, with a ELECOM UC-SGT adapter, with gpsd running (not that I know how to configure it), and of course starting the program (v 0.2) as root, on a sharp mebius pc-pj1. I could not find anything on this in my google searches, nor in various man pages (I'm also trying to get the computer to recognize the etrex when it's connected to the serial port on the external floppy disk. Maybe that is too much for it as well, as things went nowhere either). any pointers welcomed, Cyril -- "Life is a waste of time, time is a waste of life, so get wasted all of the time and have the time of your life."
