I noticed this problem too. I noticed it in certain instances where it was just a bug in how I calculated frame len that seemed to work fine for beacon frames... I pretty much gave up on the project now that that BAT does what the tool was designed to do for the most part, and that was work w/ wep_crack. I do want to patch ethereal directly, and work might fund this adventure once I settle in. I hope this helps, I don't have a bsd box w/ wifi support anymore to test on. *shrug* I'll see what I can do in the next few days if its important. --jay -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of spoonm Sent: Thursday, May 30, 2002 9:40 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [BAT] prismdump Hey, is anyone working more on prism dump, or working on something like it. Am I just doing something wrong? I'm using jay's prismdump, and it captures packets, but nothing is much readable. Ethereal just says they are a bunch of malformed packets, the management packets seem to be ok, but any tcp/ip traffic is a no go (although if I ping like 100 times, sometimes I will get 1 reply that captures correctly, everything else is malformed). Any ideas? thanks spoonm _______________________________________________ Bat mailing list [email protected] http://lists.dachb0den.com/mailman/listinfo/bat
