I'd like anyone who has succussfully cracked 128-bit WEP key enabled on a Cisco Aironet 350 AP using dweputils to drop me a line and let me know approximately how many packets you collected before dwepcrack it. I tried to crack it but has not been successful so far. Below is what I did: After using dwepdump w/ a d-link650 to collect about 3,700,000 packets from a Cisco Aironet wireless test network (1 Aironet 350 card to 1 350 AP, with 128-bit WEP enabled, no MIC, TKIP or any other additional security features), I have the following traffic loads in the air throughout the testing: - continuous Internet downloads of software packages - continuous file transfer between the wireless and the wired LAN - 20+ ping programs with -t flag, pinging nodes on wired side of the test LAN I collected 3.7 mil packets (appro. 2.3 gig) within around 6-8 hours. I run: dwepcrack -w [filename] unsuccessful dwepcrack -b [filename] unsuccessful dwepcrack -b -e [filename] still running after 14 hours __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
