bsd-airtools on openbsd 3.2

I'm trying to get my wlan card to work with dstumbler, but I am having 
some problems.  The network card I am using is the Dell Truemobile 1150:

I installed OpenBSD 3.2 (no patches or updated wicontrol) from the cdrom 
as an upgrade from 3.1 (X kept locking up with apmd).  I installed the 
bsd-airtools-0.2.tgz package from the OpenBSD packages page.  It 
installed with no problems.  So, I tried dstumbler: "# dstumbler 
wi0<enter>", and it came up... but nothing happened.  The lights on the 
card don't flash, and the only output I get is  "error: unable to ioctl 
device socket: Invalid argument" when I quit dstumbler.  Do I need to 
use OpenBSD 3.0 and apply the patches to get it to work?  Or do I need 
to get invest in a new wlan card?  maybe one of those wpc11's from Linksys?
