dstumbler + Openbsd 3.3 + Cisco aironet = "error: unable to ioctl device socket: Invalid argument" ???

I've been trying to get my Cisco aironet 350 PCMCIA card working with
dstumbler (and/or dwepdump), but though the 'an0' interface is up dwepdump
(v0.2) doesn't save any packets (or, at least, always saves only a 24 byte
file) - though netstumbler running next to it shows 2 cisco AP with WEP...?

When I try "dstumbler an0" I get the message "error: unable to ioctl device
socket: Invalid argument", and it doesn't show any APs or anything other
than the menu etc.

Any ideas for things I could try?
