Toledo I have used both 2.5 and II Prism cards in my FreeBSD 4.6 RC2 firewall/router/ADSL gateway/wireless AP box and it is as stable as a rock. Sensitivity is dependant on the card / antenna. I went down this path so as to provide an added layer of security over WEP.
