This was tried in previous years to go from the street to inside the
hall. The walls block all signal from the street.

The Oregon Convention Center is pretty clear that their current
provider is the only Internet provider they want on-site. I think
we're within our rights to transmit from the curbside but deploying
hardware outside our booth is setting up a conflict with very little
to gain. We've had the PTP essid broadcasting before with local
content and it was neat but had little impact compared to the face
time we did. Its possible that the wifi provider situation at the OCC
has changed - you could contact the management there about it.

I think the coming street fairs are a better place for practicing
adhoc deployment-foo.
