I've recently witnessed the "impossible" on more than one occasion  
with "smart-antenna" and phased array
technology. Presumably that's not what was tried in previous years.  
No promises, but I might be able to
wrangle a vivato panel and ruckus CPE setup which we could test  
before hand to see what kind of penetration is possible.

Also keep in mind that there are typically vendors outside of the  
main halls that could potentially host a repeater/mesh node.

I'd say check their booth terms and as long as you're not  
jeopardizing your booth rights
by broadcasting a free service there's no reason not to try.
