Here's another idea; the solar bike.
Generating local content is the goal.

This "sail bike kit" bolts onto a trike (a "tadpole" trike with two front
wheels). The sail could also hold flexible solar panels, generating some 50
watts in the summer for live cams and WiFi.

The solar trike is all about free publicity.

During the winter it would visit neighborhood schools ($250/day), teaching
wireless and digital media techniques. Like Ethos (www.ethos-inc.org) Like
City Repair (www.cityrepair.org).

The City Repair truck might haul the "sail bike" around for community events
in the summer. It would team with Ethos in the winter. (

(1) A bike trailer carries four UMPCs or Linux-based MITs from Intel and a
dozen $100 digital cameras.
(2) A recumbent trike might be picked up for $3000, the sail kit adds
another $4000
(3) Classes in digital photograpy, neighborhood documentation, and oral
history would generate revenue.

Participants might interview each other, or their parents, grandparents and
elderly neighbors while looking through family or neighborhood photo albums
or while walking around the neighborhood, to stimulate their memory.
