Public Web Terminals

Speaking of projects in cafes and such as....the public web terminals
I set up at the UG are amazingly useful and low low maintenance. Im
using a KioskCD(moded to have the PTP homepage be its default Home:) )
on stripped down PCs...no hds or floppys to worry about.  I have them
wired into the shops network so there is not even the worry of messy
wifi cruft to deal with.

What I would love to see happen is seeding other kiosks like these at
biz or locations where it would make sense. At the UG the utilization
of these otherwise beat up old doorstops has been truly amazing. They
not only make good proofs of a public good they also are vectors for
future plots and plans we might have.

So if you  know of a good spot for one or two or even six such things
raise up a hand and lets get er done.
