I really wanted to attend last Wednesday's meeting, since I have a fair
bit of FreeGeekness in my past, and I'd been wanting to work on a FG/PTP
linkup.

FreeGeek has a loosely-organized group called GAP ("Geek Access
Project") that sets up Linux-based web terminals, and I've been sad that
they don't coordinate with PTP more.

They usually use standalone PCs running Ubuntu, or terminal-server
setups (EdUbuntu, I think).  They have hardware to spare, but you gotta
take responsibility for supporting and maintaining your chosen cafe's
setup.

BTW, don't y'all forget that FG likes to grant equipment to good causes.
