Thanks you're right I do have a WRT54G (which is great).  I got a
D-LINK piece of crap first.  I came across this: 
http://www.stevecrow.net/wrt54g.php which is working better for me
than the WDS stuff.  Is it true when using WDS you have to be
repeating a AP of the same company?  I am using the Sveasoft firmware.
