I'm on-record on this subject (and equipment, as well as SVEAsoft

You *think* its "little difference", (and indeed, SVEAsoft wants you to 
think that), but how much RF engineering have you done?

Despite the gross illegality of this hack (which, btw, clearly shows why 
Atheros won't "open source" the HAL, because people like SVEAsoft will 
just break every rule they want to, no matter which laws get trampled), 
its not going to give you any increase in range, should you find a way 
to hold the data rate constant.

802.11g is (typically) EVM-limited at the higher rates.  You can only 
imagine what the error vector looks like when you push the PA into 
intermod (as clearly shown in the jpegs).

I am, at this point, completely confident of what it takes to get a 
200mW, 250mW or even 1000mW (1W) FCC legal system together, and you're 
unlikely to do it on a unit you bought for < $60.  Ya see, I have this 
day job...

I'm not flaming you, but I will bet a doughnut that you'll just blindly 
ignore me and run this "increased power" anyway, smugly satisfied that 
you've "beaten the man", and confident that you're getting 1/4 watt of 
tx power.
