We do sell Soekris boards as well as some pretty nice Hirose pigtails 
and other parts that people seem to like.

Yes, you can get most of the things we sell in other places, but when we 
started Metrix, we were unable to find all of the parts we liked in one 
place.    The landscape has changed a little, but for the most part, we 
carry most of what people who experiment, develop on and do neat things 
with wireless want to buy.

We figured there would be other people out there that wanted an easier 
time at buying supplies (we sure did), so we bought some things at 
quantity and put them up for sale.    Certain things made sense to 
bundle and we made 'Kits' out of them.    Sort of like the 'soekris 
kits' you sell, but ours  include Soekris boards, not just google juice.

We don't sell antennas because there is a huge number of choices in the 
antenna world,   people buy from metrix for a variety of different 
wireless projects, and we simply don't have the room for that much 
inventory.  We're a small company. We sell small things.  We store them 
on small shelves.     We've found that a portion of the people out there 
all want pretty much the same bits and pieces and we do what we can to 
fill those needs by buying from the suppliers out there (a fabulously 
fun task) and putting the stuff in cardboard boxes.    At some point we 
may be a large supplier with every wireless product under the sun, but 
that's not possible at the moment.    Our intent here is to sell quality 
products at reasonable prices.  I think we do that pretty well.   Our 
customers come back to buy things from us, so my guess is they think we 
do pretty well too.

You've mentioned the FCC a few times now, but I don't see an FCC ID on 
your upcoming WRAP product.

If you are planning on getting one for it,  will it apply for the non 
assembled version (essentially a box of parts), or are your statements 
simply FUD directed at who you percieve is your competition?  Does every 
other person who sells wireless equipment get this sort of treatment 
from you?  Do those other people provide you with a mailing list to do 
it on and invite you to their meetings?   You don't actually have to 
answer that, but I am curious as to why I'm getting this special 
treatment from you.

Do you believe that the statement "Must be professionally installed" 
makes you exempt from these fines you speak of?   When you assemble this 
product and sell it, doesn't that make it more than the sum of it's parts? 

What is your FCC stance on selling Mini PCI and PCI cards for use in 
'non-approved' devices?   Do you believe that every person that buys one 
and sticks it in their non-approved device is going to get fined?   
You've got detailed instructions on how to put them into Dell laptops.  
What's that about?
