Slightly OT: Looking for hardware recommendation

One of my clients has asked me to set up a new small network with a simple LAN with wireless support (b/g) and VPN access. I have a soekris box running M0n0wall for my SWN node that handles all of this, but I was hoping to find a a less expensive all-in-one alternative. I found two products out there that seem like candidates, though the Linky has gotten *terrible* reviews.
