Hi all, I've been on the mailing lists for a year and a bit now. I started up a wifi community group in montreal 2 years ago, inspired by groups like yours and NYC. It's called IleSansFil (wireless island -in french) and and we're going well (25-35 volunteers, 30 hotspots, a couple mesh nodes), we've developped our own opensource captive portal that fits on the wrt45g and that gives a central ability to control the splash pages to use them for local community information or artistic dissemination.
