wet11 hackers?

I am going to make a wifi voip phone out of a client adapter and a wifi bridge. Do you think the wet11 is a good choice for the task? It would need to run off of batteries. It looks like v1 is better than v2 since I could upgrade the card. What is the current kick ass small form factor wifi ethernet bridge right now?
