So if we take a 256K DSL line, factor in 20% overhead for ATM and/or other
network stuff, whack off 20% for WEP, we've reduced our throughput to about
150KBps.  802.11b is half-duplex as well, if I recall.

Check, what type of 'raw' download speeds are you seeing
(http://test.lvcm.com or http://sea.speakeasy.net)?
