No PCMCIA slot in laptop. Need help

Hello all.

I have a new laptop, a dell 6400. To my unpleasant surprise it has an ExpressCard slot and not a PCMCIA slot.

I just got a brand new EnGenius EL-2511CD PLUS EXT2 and I was hoping to use it.

Is it hopeless to get a PCMCIA slot in my laptop? I took my laptop apart and I took some pictures of how the ExpressCard attaches. I could link to them later if it will be of some help.

Basically I need to know if how I can get a this card to work on my laptop and still work in Linux. Has anyone tryed using a PCMICA to USB adaptor?
