>From the Dell website: "If I want 802.11g wireless for my Dell notebook, what do I need to buy? Dell offers an 802.11g external Express card for select notebooks that come equipped with an Expresscard slot and 802.11g or 802.11a/g internal wireless cards for notebooks both at point of sale with your notebook purchase and via customer kit after point of sale. " There seems to be other cards available as well. Google is your friend. I think you're stuck. There used to be an adapter sold but it's off the market now and might be available via eBay, etc. I can't even recall the manufacturer. When I contacted them previously they stated there were so many problems with the card they dropped it. There's a couple of places that might have one RSN (Real Soon Now). > I have a new laptop, a dell 6400. To my unpleasant surprise > it has an ExpressCard slot and not a PCMCIA slot. _______________________________________________ Talk mailing list [email protected] http://seattlewireless.net/mailman/listinfo/talk
