OK using anchor-cached-begin=<span style="color:green"> anchor-cached-end=</span> etc. helps along with validation for the majority HTML 4 pages... I want not just the wwwoffle -o output valid, but what reaches my browser. Anyway, maybe the addcacheinfo stuff could aim for HTML 4 validation at the price of HTML 3?
