The problem is that a single set of modifications are applied to all HTML files. This means that if they require HTML4 features then HTML validation will fail for HTML3 documents and if they are HTML3 features then validation will fail for HTML4 documents. If you want to validate a page that WWWOFFLE has cached then you should use 'wwwoffle -o <URL>' to get the HTML because this will bypass the ModifyHTML section of the configuration file. -- Andrew. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Andrew M.
