Seriously, look at the changelog in 2.3.12 and wonder how exposed your system might be. Admittedly some problems were introduced in later versions, but 2.3.3 has problems. During the 2.3.6 cycle, I fixed many vulnerabilities and did not document them. I purposely did not document some so that hackers would have to find them on their own. I have another report on a SUN machine that also crashes on reload occasionally. Since its a SUN machine he can't run valgrind. I was hoping you had the hints that finally showed the problem. If nothing else, please send me your xinetd.conf file and xinetd.d directory. I can run more tests here to see if its reproduceable. You can send it to me directly or the mail list.
