Hi to all,
                 I've 3 routers with 3 networks connected circularly.
           LAN--->ROUTER1--->ROUTER2--->ROUTER3-->LAN
and i am using ZEBRA router and OSPF protocol

Routers details are:

ROUTER1
                   eth0    IP: 192.168.0.53
                              gateway: 192.168.0.1
                   eth1   IP: 192.168.1.2
                              gateway:      (kept empty)

ROUTER2
                   eth0    IP: 192.168.1.1
                              gateway: 192.168.1.2
                   eth1   IP: 192.168.2.2
                              gateway:   192.168.2.1

ROUTER3
                   eth0    IP: 192.168.2.1
                              gateway:  (kept empty)
                   eth1   IP: 192.168.0.56
                              gateway:   192.168.0.1

 Now i want to check for shortest path to send a packet.

        I am trying to ping 192.168.2.1 from ROUTER2 its pinging through path (ROUTER2--->ROUTER1)

 but when i removed direct connection form ROUTER1 its not pinging. cant it take path like
( ROUTER2--->ROUTER3--->LAN--->ROUTER1).

Does OSPF protocol selects only SHORTEST PATH?

THANKS,
