I had kind of percieved that BH wasn't really *about* anything, rather
it was more along the lines of *not* being about anything.  As I
understand it, the tone of this list has of late become more serious
than it once was, but have we really come to the point as a community
where we should be defining ourselves?  

In any case, we seem to have evolved, in some regards, into a
"meta-news" source. That said, I'd be hesitant to discourage anyone
from posting something to this list, no matter what it is.  With no
apparent editorial policy, how is one to differentiate between what to
post or not to post?

Does BH have an editorial policy? Should it?
