An angle I hadn't thought of, interesting.  Applied Digital Solutions wants 
RFID chips to be a replacement for dog tags.  So while we've mostly been 
worried about someone reading the data on the tag, this brings up a military 
application.  

You've got a chip tag in your neck, or your arm.  Your enemy triggers it with 
some sort of fairly non-lethal radiation.  It explodes, and depending on where 
the chip is placed, you're either dead or temporarily debilitated.
