Making the masses disappear

I was listening to VPR this morning at the ungodly hour of 5:30, when BBC 
World Update is on.  They had a great piece about one of the protests 
yesterday, and an interview with the father of the first casualty in Iraq.  If 
I can find the interview later, I'll pass along a link.  

NPR came on before I left, had a short blurb about the protest, and said a few 
hundred marchers were present.  BBC reported 3,000.

Big difference.  What's so left wing about NPR?  They make the masses 
disappear just like the major media outlets.

On another note, if you google on Vermont Public Radio, David's letter to the 
Rutland Herald comes up as one of the top 10 results.
