Ah tests! Amanda and I met to discuss the possibility of forming a
safety committee. One thing we identified was a way to ensure that
people have internalized the safety guidelines already in place (and
new ones as needed). The most efficient process for this, we
realized, was actually to have future mixmasters take a test. It
would be a take-home type thing that would cover all the procedures
and the safety issues. Just by having to fill this test out, they
would be familiarizing themselves with the necessary safety issues.
We agreed that just having a safety guidelines binder on-site is not
sufficient. There would always be people who don't read it.

Meanwhile, Brian, I'm still waiting for someone to set up the
[email protected] mailing list. Can you do that?
