Friends, What's in the oil sludge? can it be filtered and dealt with as animal fat? There are people on the forums talking about making BioD from sheep renderings - talk about super high titration! This requires the acid-base process, something that Seth was talking a lot about earlier this year. It is worth having a mixmaster subcommittee try the acid-base treatment to see if we can react this stuff? As I recall, it takes about 1 ml conc. sulphuric acid per liter of oil. Seth is probably more up to speed on this. I can post some links if someone wants to take this on. It's ok to throw stones if I am way off base.
