We had another long day at the rock pile. Got a lot of things done. Ron wired up the proper relay for the inline heater. Ginger moved about 4,000 pounds of oil into totes. She has really big muscles now... George helped a lot too. He committed to taking the trailer full of trash to the dump. The slab is now 100% cleared off. We moved the oil collection drum to a new temporary home. It is still not online. Me thinks it needs a shelter over it. Gary brought down his 10kw generator. He has spent a lot of dough on adaptors and cords to make his gen work with our plugs. We plumbed a low pressure regulator onto the 220 volt compressor so that we could use it on the meth mixer. So we had the 220v heater, compressor and all the 110v devices all working off of Gary's generator. All with less than half the noise of our 4.5 kw generator. We really need a muffler on that thing. Greg picked up reactor vessel # 3. Apparently there are some modifications that require some welding? Some one remind me on what's going on there. Now for the fun part. We had only 1208 grams of lye. Uhhhh this can't happen gang. So I reduced the amount of oil in 1 reactor by about 8 liters and we crossed our fingers. We also used all the hot water in the wash 1 tank. So we did not do a prewash. Ron, what did you change on the hot water tank? We reacted 1 vessel of oil. Circulated over 200 gallons of fuel through wash 1. Filtered around 175 gallons of fuel for distribution. The wash water in wash tank 2 needs to be pumped out into the 55 gallon drums that Ginger just emptied out. Remeber, it must be neutralized before we can send it away. The water in wash 2 has not been neutralized. All in all it was a very succesfull day given the number of people that showed up. The property is looking fantastic. We are going to need 3 or 4 people on Thursday to help lift the knee wall that Chet built. Thanks everyone, Tom
