Fuel dryer

The fuel drier should not have to be torn down for inspection.  If there 
is crud building up in it, there is a process problem that needs to be 
solved farther upstream (per a conversation I had with Seth).  If this 
is a persistent problem, we may need to run a 3rd wash or ???  Fuel 
testing will tell us how well the process is working.  Where are we on that?

When the dryer is moved onto the gravel temporary pad under the roof, 
the barrel needs to be connected to the wall of the conex with Unistrut 
and a big strap.  When we have a real pad to work on, all equipment will 
be seismically restrained to meet the building code.  The barrel should 
not be moved away from the tote, as raising it will increase the head on 
the pump and that will reduce the flow rate of fuel over the fill.

Ducting air from the conex is counter productive to achieving class 
1/div 2.  Always a bad plan to connect the air in the breathing zone to 
a piece of process equipment.   I had suggested a solar air heater for 
the dryer this summer but it never got built. This is still a good 
possibility.  Seth and I also discussed using a dryer element as an air 
heater - which is exactly what it is.  That's a great "do it at home" 
project for someone.  I will provide a sketch if someone is interested 
in either project.

Hose and disconnects are the wrong direction to go.  All the process 
equipment will eventually be hard piped in steel to meet the fire code.
