my solenoid went out on my' 92 7.3. I shopped around and got the best deal  
in McMinnville at the napa shop. but instead of going through the front door, 
go  around the back door there is an electrical shop that will get you the same 
part  for a lot less. I think I only paid about $30 for the solenoid,  ray
