I REALLY appreciate the help! you guys are great. I have talked to the
guys at Economy Garage and to the always helpful Jay at the 7th ave shop.
They both mentioned Halsey Import Parts as they couldn't fix the injection
pump leaks and it's lack of pull from the tank (inter-related as it
happens), but were more than happy to install one if i found it. Halsey
Import Parts has a new injection pump for about $1000 ($800 car :) ) but
pointed me to Diesel Injection Service on Vancouver Ave near Columbia Blvd
and MLK. They rebuilt my pump with viton seals for an even $400 in three
days turnaround as they keep this stuff in stock. I'm timing it up tomorrow
and hopefully this little pump will see another couple hundred thousand
miles.

You are a helpful bunch. Please accept my recomendation, all you VW
dieselers, for these three shops. DIS is certainly worth the $400-$500 to
get your pumps B100 capable and keep your wabbits, golves, quantums, audis,
mercedes, and what have yous out of the junk yards as long as possible.

The greatly appreciative.
