Yeah, I am basically referring to the vegetarian promotion, rather than the biodiesel feedstock discussion... I have a long long list of ways to debate vegetarian propaganda, as I am sure many vegetarians have the same to debate meat consumption. But I would prefer if we not do it on this list. Keep it to biodiesel production and the like, and it stays on-topic. :) On 12/18/06, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > > But aren't we 'at war' still anyway? :) > > as to algae vs. land-based "fuel-food", we just need to learn how to > process cellulose better (like beavers and cows do) - think about the > possibilities - You could get in your biodiesel VW, drive in from canby, > and stop by a field for 'breakfast' on the way in? :) > > here's hoping someone gets those algae-based biodiesel 'production cells' > (or whatever they called them) from that recent OSU research into > production soon. > > kevin > > > > > Any chance we could keep this sort of thing off the biodiesel list, to > > avoid > > an ideological war? > > > > On 12/16/06, Samadhi <[email protected]> wrote: > >> > >> Friends, > >> > >> Algae is likely going to establish itself as the main > >> source of raw material (oil) for biofuel production. > >> I mean you can grow the stuff over a toxic waste site > >> and it will clean it as it grows.
