Greetings Everyone -

It's been 5 weeks since the big bash and Julee, Hannah, Mich and I have
completed our thank yous, number crunching and making sure all of our
auction winners received their items and connected with the giver(s) of
their experiences. We've reviewed and evaluated the event, the auction
items and the overall planning and have made some notes and plans for
our next big bash. We're can't wait to do it again :-)

For those of you who hadn't heard, the 1st Annual GoBiodiesel Bash was a
huge success! Not only was the evening a good time with some really
awesome music from State of Jefferson and DJ Spin Willie (I've got a
playlist if anyone wants a copy!) but Randy Leonard turns out to be a
truly nice person and great to chat with. We had a solid crowd and all
of our almost 70 auction items sold but one! Some of the most popular
items included: airplane sightseeing tour over Mt. St. Helens, kayaking
trip, autographed Pink Martini items and other local band cds, massages,
original artwork, handmade jewlery, theatre tix and delectable pastries
and cake. We even got to taste samples of Tamar's delicous custom-made
cakes before bidding!

With the funds we raised the co-op will be able to make some really
crucial upgrades to our processor, helping us to increase our fuel
production and make it even more efficient. If you'd like to learn more
about how the monies will be spent attend a general meeting or send your
suggestions and comments to the list.

Do I hear folks wondering just how much we brought in, on this, our
first ever GoBiodiesel fundraising extravaganza? Are you thinking to
yourself, c'mon already, get to the good stuff? Well, after all of our
expenses, at the end of the night the GoBiodiesel Cooperative netted a
solid $3500 and change! Woo hoo! Well done team!

It was quite an effort but well worth it and we once again want to send
out a heartfelt thanks to those of you who stepped up to help pull this
together, as well as those of you who showed up that night and so
generously participated in the FUN and FUNdraising festivities! More
power to us!

So, on a final fundraising note for 2006, Mich has Chinook books
available until Friday, January 5th. They make great last minute gifts
and stocking stuffers and they are really a great value. We always buy
several a year and so enjoy using the great coupons they offer. If you
are interested in purchasing some please email Mich directly at
[email protected] and she will get back to you. Make sure
to include your phone number too.

Happy Holidays Everyone and here's to a Green and Greasy 2007.

Peace,

Sofia
