help/advice on home algae growing

Hello,

I am hoping to get a small scale algae growing project going for biofuel
production.

I have the algae, a grow light, and a little bit of growth media left.
However, I lack experience. I haven't killed my culture in the last month,
but the growth rate has been very (very) modest.

I am really hoping to avoid a "craigslist experience" so any advice, help,
or that magical internet link that I haven't been able to find would be much
appreciated.
