LASC news and Bulletin info

Dear LASC membership,

A mid-summer (July and August) edition of the LASC Bulletin is planned
for mid-August.

Meanwhile there is important news.  The LASC board is in the process of
drafting a single, coherent, and consistent set of range safety rules.  Following

LASC Range Safety Manual

A draft of the LASC Range Safety Manual is now available. 
Skip Anderson, the LASC Chief Range Safety Officer, has 
been developing this Range Safety Manual. The draft has 
been reviewed by several members of LASC as well as the 
LASC Board. Your comments are invited. Please forward 
them to Skip Anderson at [email protected].

As a general policy, the LASC Board is attempting to have 
appropriate and clearly written rules and policies, and to enforce 
these rules and polcies. While our desire is that we have fewer 
and more easily understood rules and policies, this may not be 
realistic given the evolving safety and environmental regulatory 
climate.
