News Item: Mall Fight Escalates, One Shot

Hello Members...

For those of you who have taken my CCW class, you have heard me say
(more than once) "...you are walking to your car at the Villa Linda
Mall in Santa Fe..." when something happens.

Well, "something" happened at the Villa Linda (now called the Santa Fe
Place) mall.

Now, put yourself into that situation...what would you have done had
you been there? What would you have done if your family had been with
you? Take note of how many men were involved. How many could have been
armed besides the shooter? Although information is sketchy, think
about placing that scenario into a visualization process for the
future. Perhaps you may consider making your response to that scenario
part of your personal self-defense plan.

Remember the WYOR concept - don't ever be in "Condition White"...when
in public, the minimum condition should be "Condition Yellow"...and,
in this case if you were anywhere in the area of this incident, you
would have been in "Condition Orange."
