Please Contact the House Judiciary Committee Right Away!

The NRA-backed legislation, House Bill 588<http://legis.state.nm.us/lcs/_session.asp?chamber=H&type=++&number=588&Submit=Search&year=07> & Senate Bill 111<http://legis.state.nm.us/lcs/_session.asp?chamber=S&type=++&number=111&year=07>, could be brought before the House Judiciary Committee late this afternoon or this evening!

HB 588, sponsored by Representative John Heaton (D-55), would allow Concealed Handgun Licensees to protect themselves in establishments that sell alcohol for off-premises consumption.

SB 111, sponsored by Senator Stuart Ingle (R-27), is the Senate companion bill to HB 588.

Please contact members of the House Judiciary Committee and urge them to support HB 588 & SB 111.
