I have received the version of the July newsletter you sent earlier today, and I do plan to proofread it in time for you to review it before publishing it next Tuesday, July 8. (I am now coming to the end of the first week of a five-week trip away from home for a variety of Early Music workshops. This will cut into both the time I have available for reading incoming email and the time I have available for proofreading.) When I have tried to get the English version of the July newsletter from Webpreview, what I see is a version in Italian. That I do not have the benefit of the webpreview version is not an unmixed disadvantage. It means that I will not have to deal with a moving target over the next few days as I proofread the English version. To paraphrase a joke about writing a computer program from a functional specification, proofreading English text for the FSFE is like walking on water. It's easier if it's frozen! However, anyone who translates the early English version will lose the benefit of any suggestions that I make which affect the final published English version.
