Hi Johannes,

There may be a good case for capitalizing the word in English. The
decision to adopt the English word "Supporter" as a loanword in German
rather than using the translation "Unterst=C3=BCtzer" shows that it's being
treated as a specific, defined term. If it were just a descriptive
word, we would simply translate it. The fact that it resists
translation indicates it functions more like a title or brand name. In
that case, that should probably be reflected in English as well by
capitalizing it as "Supporter". And perhaps other languages should keep
the term as well, but that's a separate question.
