VDQ : FM from Pine/Alpine?

Somewhere in that great long 'mergery' thread series, here or on c.m.p, is
an example I can clone to re-enable handling Fastmail from Pine; that
would spare me re-studying the whole topic. I can find it that way if need
be. 

There was also a nice short thread on c.m.p just the other day that may
work.

IOW, I'll manage. But if anyone here happens to have something
better handy -- like such an example in a FAQ or on a web page that you
don't have to make any effort to look up -- it sure would be nice to have.
