Well, with the incoming folders deleted as such, I *think* this will be as
straight as I can keep things; my apologies for obvious errors, and caveat
against others! Also, I didn't think soon enough to differentiate all the
subject lines, alas!

In FM-inbox-old I find :

In the Apending in the FM collection, where they shouldn't be, but I
hadn't yet learned the trick of putting them into the Apending in the
titan collection, I find three.

The two saying "Please confirm" had Reply-to fields (suppressed here); the
two saying "Confirmatin accepted" did not.

What I saw on my newsreader was addresses like (all one line, with @)

1. Send a message to
beartooth+test-hcDgGtZH8xNAfugRpC6u6w (AT) public.gmane.org

Dunno what that tells us, nor why gmane's web interface should differ here
from its usenet interface ....
