WOW! I had no idea Pine could do any of that. 

Do I go ahead and read new stuff after this and breakfast? (It's 12:15
here, and with another late start, I haven't had any food yet -- not
unusual.)

You'll laugh : suddenly I see *vast* benefit in the zoom toggling -- where
there are so many more folders. It found 299 (of 388) just with new stuff
in! (Of course, lots must reflect the fact I often mark read messages new
to keep them easy to find, and be reminded of, after I've thought about
them. So the vast majority -- including all the Apending and sent-mail
folders! -- doubtless have nothing really new.)

Enormously useful! Not so handy as having the incoming folders, but a huge
improvement on the situation of the moment as I perceived it.

It must be near quittin' time there. Sorry for my late start. I'll
look forward to tomorrow.
