OK, now I understand what's going on. Unfortunately, because of 
Gmane's address munging, you have not performed the experiments 
I wanted you to perform. Please follow the steps below and make 
sure that you

 * use 'test2' (not 'test')
 * replace ' (AT) ' with '@'

Please post the answers to steps 2, 5, and 7.

Tip: You can use the ';PNZ' command sequence to help you figure 
out which mailbox the messages were delivered to.


Sorry about having to re-do this experiment. I think we're both 
learning things!
